Mission

In partnership with our citizens and the Norristown Municipal Council, the Norristown Department of Parks and Recreation strives to provide comprehensive park and recreation programs, and services that respond to changing needs within the communities we serve as well as changes in recreational trends. to enjoy during the summer months.

We strive to preserve, enhance, and protect our facility and open spaces by providing opportunities for community members to engage in safe and enriching activities which promote a positive quality of life. We pride ourselves with helping our citizens by providing recreational and leisure service opportunities that will last for present and future generations in a safe and secure environment.
